Drift-E was developed after team members  operated a successful family drift kart business for over 10 years that saw thousands of customers enjoy the leisure experience of indoor drift karting here in New Zealand and abroad. Our knowledge of running a lucrative leisure karting business comes from our team members' hands-on experience running multiple tracks from the customer experience down to kart maintenance. The limitations of petrol-powered engines became more and more prevalent and evident with running the tracks; intensified with rising fuel costs and the ongoing challenge of dealing with emissions in the indoor environment. So the team started fresh, reenvisioning the future of karting with the technological advancements in building, software and development that are only possible with electric engines.
